The history of Everest
Index Braille introduced the first Everest-embosser in 1990. It was the first standing printer in the world, and was soon rewarded a national design prize. With Everest we were the first to offer reasonably prized double sided embossing. Everst was also the first embosser with sheet feeder, speech feedback and control panel in Braille. The more advanced Everst, V2, came in 1996.
In 2003 Everest V3 was introduced, packed with high performing technology and new software solutions, USB, network support. Still, after 15 years on the market, no other embosser competes with the groundbreaking Everest.
