In Smart Spender, the second in the Lifeskills series, pupils will learn how to earn money by making careful decisions as well as how to spend wisely and how to manage on a budget.
It is an excellent resource for older pupils, or even adults, who are experiencing difficulty dealing with money in day-to-day situations.
Important features of the Lifeskills software include the inbuilt scanning option and the wide range of teacher options that allow the content of each of these seven activities to be customised to meet the needs of individual pupils. Each of the seven stimulating activities is set within a townscape where pupils are encouraged to learn by solving puzzles and managing everyday situations:
